In response to COVID-19, VCA Charities has committed $250,000 in grants to support animal welfare organizations helping pets and people impacted by the pandemic. “Our commitment ensures that pets and people remain together during these challenging times,” stated Brandon Antin, VCA Charities board member.

Together in partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, funds help with the cost of veterinary care, food, and medical supplies. Shelters including Hawaiian Humane Society, Austin Humane Society, Kentucky Humane Society, Palm Valley Animal Shelter, Pima Animal Care Center and Gallup Humane, among others, will receive funding to help enable access to veterinary care for vulnerable pet owners who face job and financial loss, and have nowhere to turn to access care for their pets.
